When the liquid flows in from the inlet and the scraper with compensation is close to the outer surface of the filter screen in the tangential direction, the liquid flows from the outer surface of the filter screen through the filter screen, and the impurities are trapped on the outer surface, and the liquid flows out from the outlet; with the passage of time, the impurities gradually increase, the pressure difference rises, and the filter screen is cleaned according to the set pressure difference or timing.
The motor drives the scraper to rotate horizontally to clean the filter screen. When the scraper rotates, the impurities are scraped off (stripped) by the scraper and flow to the bottom of the filter screen, and the impurities are deposited in the collecting chamber. Each cleaning consists of multiple cleaning cycles. After the screen surface is cleaned, the filtering capacity is restored. Filter normally during cleaning, without interruption of flow.
After multiple cleaning cycles, the impurities accumulate to a certain amount, and the blowdown valve is opened regularly to discharge the waste liquid containing high concentration of impurities, which can be recycled if necessary.
