What is in the cartridge filter?

1. Filter Cartridge:

The heart of the cartridge filter is, unsurprisingly, the cartridge itself. Typically cylindrical, cartridges are made from various materials like polyester, paper, or even woven wire mesh. These materials are chosen for their ability to capture particles of different sizes while allowing the filtered fluid to pass through. Cores are usually made from rigid materials like PVC or metal and are positioned along the length of the cartridge to provide support and stability. (2) Pleats: Many cartridge filters are pleated. Pleating increases the surface area of the filter, allowing for greater particle capture without significantly increasing the size of the cartridge. 2. Filter Media:

3. End Caps:

These caps are typically made from materials like plastic or metal and are designed to create a secure seal, ensuring that all fluid passes through the cartridge rather than bypassing it. End caps also provide structural support, keeping the cartridge in place and preventing it from collapsing under pressure.
